[Review] The Kodiak Plus by Outdoor Tech

If you’re looking for a durable power bank to take with you on all of your rugged adventures to power your phone, camera, tablet, or headlamp (the options are endless), then look no further than the Kodiak Plus by Outdoor Tech. You can truly take this battery anywhere and you’ll hardly notice it in your pack/pocket/purse. It’s slim build fits friendly in your hand and you won’t be weighed down.

The Kodiak Plus is not only shockproof (thanks to it’s silicone case), it is waterproof as well (up to 3 ft for 30 min). We recently put the Kodiak Plus to the ultimate test on our motorcycle trip to Baja. Motorcycles are truly rough on gear, especially my single-cylinder dubbed the paint-shaker. It withstood all of the abuse.

We used the Kodiak Plus every day and every night, not as a backup battery bank but as an essential battery to keep our cameras and most importantly, our comm. system charged up. This battery will not let you down when you take it with you for vital situations!

Between the 10,000mAh and dual USB outputs, you can charge almost any portable device. The dual USB outputs are diverse as well which is beneficial, giving you a 1A and/or 2.4A choice.

The LED battery indicator gauge lets you know when you’re getting low on power, so as never to run out and Outdoor Tech includes a charging cable (micro USB) with the power bank.

The Kodiak Plus is a promising investment for portable power, as the dustproof, waterproof, and shockproof capabilities will keep it powering your gear for years to come in any environment. Check out Outdoor Tech for more technology that you can take with you in any environment and on any adventure!
