[Review] The New Tumbler by Hydro Flask

If you haven’t yet jumped on the insulated hydration device train yet, you’re really missing out! Hydro Flask has been my go-to for the last few years for keeping my cold beverages cold and my hot ones hot. Whether I’m filling my flasks up with water for a hot summer day or with coffee for a cold wintery dog walk, I’m using them all the time. I thought Hydro Flask was genius in the design and development of their wide mouths, standard mouths, and a plethora of lid choices but then they developed the Tumbler.

The Tumbler is the ideal everyday beverage carrier and is perfect for, well, everything. I fill it with tea in the mornings, water for the majority of the day, and then any beverage I may be drinking in the evening. I take it everywhere and it honestly keeps me more hydrated because it’s always within reach.

The technology going into the Tumbler is the same that you’ve seen in the past with Hydro Flask. TempShield™ insulation keeps your beverages at the desired temperatures and the lid is insulated with the Honeycomb Insulation™. The durable Pro Grade Stainless Steel will protect your Tumbler in any falls or drops. The powder coat also adds durability and protection. I have dropped Hydro Flasks in the past and while they will dent in a hard enough fall, it won’t affect the insulating factors of the bottle.

Something that is amazing about any Hydro Flask you may have/get is that they do not sweat. No matter where you live, this can be an issue and it’s so much nicer not to have to worry about it. I’ve been using Hydro Flask throughout the past few years, if I had to go back to a bottle that sweats I would be thoroughly annoyed! Not only does it make a mess of your desk/car/table it also makes your hands clammy and cold.

One thing I’ve found with my Tumbler is that it is really easy to clean. I can go from drinking hot chocolate to water and, with only a bit of a rinse, I can’t taste chocolate when I drink water. I’ve even been using it a ton in the camper because we don’t currently have running water so instead of wasting plastic cups, I just fill up my Tumbler.

The Tumbler is the perfect Hydro Flask to have for your day-to-day and for traveling. It doesn’t have a closure mechanism on the lid so if that is something you are after, be sure to check out Hydro Flask’s line up of products (it’s huge and always growing)! The Tumbler is the one-hand drinking device and once you start using it, you may not use anything else.
