[Review] The Stash by Hydrapak

A few years ago, I had the most amazing idea.   I was tired of getting extremely thirsty in places where it wouldn’t make sense to carry a huge and heavy water bottle. I thought it would be convenient to have a water bottle that was small and space considerate and would collapse down as you consumed the water inside. Lucky for me, Hydrapak had the same idea and created the Stash Bottle.

The Stash Bottle is ideal for outdoor adventures like hiking, skiing, or biking and would be an amazing travel companion. Not only is it a soft walled water bottle, it collapses down to take up minimal space! Throw it in your carry-on bag and once you get past security, fill it up with water to stay hydrated throughout your flight.

We’ve found the thermoplastic polyurethane material of the bottle to be durable and sealed well. The lid seals well so if you stash the Stash in your backpack with your extra layer, it won’t leak.

The 33.8 fluid ounce capacity is an average size that will give you plenty of water for your short day hike. The wide mouth is comfortable to drink from, and the lid removes completely so it does not hit you in the mug while you’re trying to drink.

While you would definitely notice a collapsed Stash bottle in your ski jacket pocket, it is a nice alternative from having waste time heading down to the lodge on a deep powder day for that desperate drink of water.

Check out Hydrapak for many of your hydration needs especially if you’re like me and would like something collapsible that doesn’t take up a ton of space in your pack and gets smaller the more you consume!
