[Review] The Uno Chair by Therm-a-Rest

The Uno Chair is a perfectly packable chair whether you’re hanging around camp, heading out to your favorite festival, or road tripping through the nation’s best National Parks. We love the way it packs into itself and packs away around other gear. It’s easy to throw in tight places or slide into the back of your pack to have with you throughout the day. You’ll never lose parts because they’re all inside the plastic base; which is another bonus.

The “case” is actually the base and while it’s convenient it’s all in once place, we find that sometimes the chair can sway a little bit, especially on uneven surfaces. With a weight limit of 250 pounds, we feel that when Tyson is in it rather than myself (only 50 pounds difference) it definitely sways more.

The poles are that of which you’d find with a tent and they seem extremely durable. The fabric of the chair is also a nice fabric to the touch but the weight ensures that it won’t tear easily. It’s also fairly easy to spot clean.

One of the coolest features of the Uno chair is that it easily converts into a little side table too. This is such a great feature, no matter where you find yourself using the Uno. It’s the perfect size to have for making sandwiches or setting your drinks on.

If you’re looking for a low profile and easy to pack camp chair, look no further than the Uno chair. It’s dual function features ensure you’ll always have it within reach. With a set up time of only a few seconds, you wont miss a minute of lounging with your favorite camp buddies.
