[Review] Sherpa-Lined Mock Neck Vest by Carhartt

What’s the perfect layer to take that cold chill off of a spring morning in the desert? Hands down the Sherpa-Lined Mock Neck Vest by Carhartt. With the traditional Carhartt washed duck outer, this vest is not only warm it’s also very durable.

The sherpa lining of this vest is extremely warm and comfortable and this will for sure be a vest I pull for in all four seasons. Even in the summer, we can have some chilly evenings and mornings. What’s key about this vest is that it is the perfect layer but also extremely durable. I have plenty of vests that I never wear because I’m too nervous that loading a motorcycle in the trailer will tear it up. That’s no longer an issue with this Carhartt vest.

The neck on this vest is high enough to protect from chilly wind but if it’s not your thing, Carhartt offers vests in a v-neck style or without the mock neck. The fit of this vest is spot on but I should mention that I’m usually a size large. In this style, I went with a size medium. I’m 6’0 tall and 185 pounds with a 44” chest. The length is ideal and the drop hem in the back offers extra protection (and allows for that ideal fit). I can fit a mid-layer or sweatshirt underneath this vest and the fit is still spot on.

Not only is the Sherpa-Lined Mock Neck Vest an amazing fit while keeping you warm, it’s also flattering and durable. This Carhartt vest is ready for anything. Start wearing the perfect layer without worrying about ripping it or getting it dirty.
