[Review] The Food Flask by Hydro Flask

If I don’t have a snack with me, when I get hungry you won’t want to be in the same county as me. Thanks to Hydro Flask, my snack of choice no longer has to be limited to dry foods like trail mix, crackers, or lame fruits like bananas.   The Food Flask allows me to take some of my personal favorites like berries, kiwis, yogurts, and veggies with me on adventures without them getting warm, mushy, and gross!

Developed with the same classic Hydro Flask technology of a double walled, vacuum-sealed container, the Food Flask keeps cold food cold and hot food hot. Have you heard of Noosa? If you haven’t tried it you should head to your grocery store right now and get some because it is like dessert but it is technically yogurt so you can have it in the morning without anyone knowing you’re really devouring a creamy and smooth dessert-like yogurt. Sorry for the rant but my point is that no one likes warm yogurt and now you don’t have to force it down.

The lid seals extremely well on the Food Flask so you can throw it in your purse without fear of covering your dollar bills in oatmeal. When I first learned about the Food Flask, I had a Ziploc bag full of pomegranate seeds (my favorite and ideal snack for any situation) in my purse and knew that I had to have a Food Flask. No more eating out of plastic bags for me! Not only is it more conducive to eating out of, the Food Flask does an amazing job of keeping food fresh and normal.

Some food I’ve put into my Snack Flask:

  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Diced mango
  • Sliced kiwi
  • Chopped Strawberries
  • Noosa Yogurt (Raspberry)
  • Chobani Greek Yogurt (Key Lime Pie Flavor, only the best)
  • Oatmeal (brown sugar with Blueberries if I’m lucky)

If you’re a snacker like myself save your friends from enduring your hanger and get a Food Flask. You’ll find yourself loving and using it all the time and it will greatly enhance your snacking experience (I say snacking but you can also put real food in your Food Flask like oatmeal etc.). Be sure to check out Hydro Flask for all of your needs including an extensive line of hydration gear!
