[Review] Lightweight and Packable: The Director’s Chair by Timber Ridge

If you’re looking for an affordable, lightweight and packable chair look no further than the Director’s Chair by Timber Ridge. The aluminum construction keeps the chair’s weight to a minimum so no matter what you’re using it for, it won’t feel like you’re lugging a heavy chair with you.

This lightweight packable chair by Timber Ridge has become our go-to if we’re traveling by car. While we wouldn’t use it for a canoe trip, for example, it’s great if you have a little bit more room for gear. The nice thing about the Director’s Chair is that it folds up relatively flat and is easy to pack.

The design and breathable mesh fabric results in extreme comfort and we started questioning why we haven’t had these sooner. They’re perfect for the camper porch, concerts in the park, or campfires with friends.

The side table is a great addition, without adding any space to the chair once it’s folded up. It can actually withstand a lot of weight and is great for reading materials, snacks and drinks. There is an included cup holder which works really well for tumblers, pop cans, and small water bottles. It doesn’t work well for mugs or anything bigger than that.
