[Review] Women’s Thermawool Full Zip by Terramar

This mid-layer by Terramar is on the light side of mid layers and is perfect for spring adventures or skiing deep snow in the middle of January. Not only will the Thermawool Full Zip keep you warm, it has a stylish touch to it.

I love the color of the Full Zip, and the combination of polyester and merino will give you beneficial features whether you’re cold or sweating. It’s naturally anti-microbial so it won’t start to stink after days of back-to-back use.

The micro-polyester interior is extremely soft against the skin, while the outer is easy to layer on top of. The flat stitching throughout ensures you won’t be bothered by the seams if you’re wearing a heavy pack back.

This piece is also UPF 50+ so now you can stay warm, comfortable and protected from the sun! The versatility of the Thermawool Full Zip makes it a piece you can and will use year round no matter what you’re doing. On a recent trip to Moab, I wore it mountain biking, hiking, and while I was sleeping! For me, having layers that I can use year round is essential.

I’m not a huge fan of the ruching but feel as though it throws a stylish twist on an outdoor layer and is different from most Terramar Pieces. The high collar is amazing and a feature that I love on mid layers! I love the look and the feel and it really takes the chill off when you can zip your face into a soft, warm collar.

If you’re looking for a lighter mid-layer, the Thermawool by Terramar wont break your bank but will keep you looking and feeling good when you’re outside doing what you love to do, no matter the season.
